From Wheel Chair To Walking, Rheumatoid Arthritis Success at CHIPSA!

Nashville, Tennessee – Meet Regina C., a 67 year old grandmother and veteran who had been suffering with a very aggressive case of Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) for over 18 years.

Until she came to CHIPSA, Regina was practically confined to a wheelchair and was barely able to walk across a room. RA had taken over her life. She was in constant pain. All her joints were inflamed and nothing was helping.

Every medication she took seemed to make things worse.

It all started in 1998 when Regina started getting pain in her hands. Her fingers were swollen and “hurt like the dickens.”  Not knowing what to do, she visited two different doctors who ran a battery of tests and looked for inflammatory markers amongst other possibilities.

Regina’s numbers came back sky high and she had a very aggressive case of Rheumatoid Arthritis. Almost immediately her symptoms were accelerating, her joints were hurting, and normal day to day activities became increasingly difficult.

Regular Treatment and Consequences

Regina still didn’t quite understand what was happening. She trusted in regular treatments and thought a “pill” could fix her. Doctors started her off with Prednisone and Methotrexate.

Initially things were okay, but soon the medications stopped working and doctors had to put Regina on stronger immunosuppressive drugs. This was a pattern that would ensue for the next 18 years; each time her immune system grew weaker, and each time the side effects were worse.

The RA had now traveled throughout her body to her back, and she was constantly developing infection after infection. Her life became one of pain and suffering with momentary bouts of relief, only to be followed by more pain.

An Answer In Mexico?

CHIPSA Hospital

While treatment in the United States was focused on suppressing the immune system, there was a hospital in Mexico, CHIPSA Hospital, that had been focusing on strengthening the immune system. They had a unique approach using cutting-edge immunotherapies. It was even getting remissions in cancer patients.

If they could strengthen the immune system of cancer patients, could Regina get similar success with her condition?

Regina’s Amazing Results

Regina was in bad shape when she arrived at CHIPSA Hospital. She was unable to walk, and her suppressed immune system caused her body to shut down, causing painful sores to develop from head to toe.

Within a week of doing treatments at CHIPSA, her splotches started to go away. Her ability to walk was greatly improved. Generally, she says she felt great.

Within two weeks of treatment at CHIPSA, Regina says she noticed something strange after visiting a flea market. She had been on her feet for an hour and half without pain. “That hadn’t happened in years,” she said. She almost didn’t realize how long she was walking around.

Here Are Some Of The Treatments Regina Did

Gerson Therapy Immuno-Nutrition

Initially Developed by German born Dr. Max Gerson in the 1920’s for the treatment of tuberculosis and headaches, Gerson Therapy was applied towards cancer patients in 1928. It is a specific diet-based immunological detoxification and nutrition protocol that is the foundation of the treatments at CHIPSA.

The diet includes raw and cooked foods in its three daily organic vegan meals, extraordinary amounts of unaltered foods are consumed as well as the intravenous inclusion of vitamin drips.

Additionally patients can expect anywhere from 12-15 raw juices a day, prepared specific organic fruits and vegetables. These fruits and vegetables are harvested for their enormous quantities of phytochemicals currently under study worldwide for exciting anticancer and health promoting properties, “super charging” the patient’s immune system.

Coley’s CPG

Coley’s CPG therapy is our custom-made proprietary blend of CPG carrying agents that allows the immune system the best chance of creating antigen-specific modulation of the immune response that drives the inflammatory disease. Additionally this therapy aims to activate the appropriate T cells to modulate the production of cytokines responsible for maintaining rheumatoid arthritis.

CPG  is comprised of a sterile (dead) mixture of gram-positive Streptococcus pyogenes and gram-negative Serratia marcescens bacteria. By introducing the killed bacteria into the body, Dr. Coley could mimic an immune response without the risk of infection. The goal is to “unlock” the body’s immune system.

CPG  therapy is administered about 2-3 times per week at a dose which achieves a body temperature of between 39.5 °C to 41 °C (approximately 103 °C to 106 °F), while being monitored by qualified medical staff.

  • CPG Therapy is administered about 2-3 times per week at a dose which achieves a body temperature of between 39.5 °C to 41 °C (approximately 103 °C to 106 °F), while being monitored by qualified medical staff.
  • The exact number of treatments per week may vary depending on each individual patient and other circumstances.
  • Patients generally receive one infusion per day.
  • About 5-6 hours of treatment are required for each treatment day.
  • Vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature) are constantly monitored by professional and experienced medical staff.
  • Coley Vaccine has a very long and safe history of use.
  • Generally patients experience improved well being after each treatment.
  • This treatment is ideally used in conjunction with other immunotherapies, such as Gerson Therapy, DC-MAX , and other integrative therapies.

Note: CHIPSA is the only licensed hospital facility treating RA with CPG Therapy in North America.

Hyperbaric Oxygen

Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber

The use of  Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy for RA has become more common across the globe. Clinical practice is reporting that hyperbaric oxygen therapy has marked effects on the reduction of inflammation in RA, which is beneficial for the repair of the diseased joints.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber  at CHIPSA administers pure oxygen at pressures 1.5 – 3 times the normal atmospheric pressure, with treatment times ranging from 30-90 minutes.

Administering oxygen at higher pressures causes up to 20 times more oxygen to be absorbed by the blood and transferred to injured organs and tissues. This speeds healing and recovery time in addition to other benefits.

IV Ozone Therapy

Blood is drawn and ozone is added to the drawn blood. It is then run through a UV A, B, and C light to further clean it of pathogens. The stimulation of the Ozone and UV light creates a vaccine-like immune response. Ozone therapy is a powerful immune-stimulant known for its antiviral and antibacterial effects.

PEMF Therapy

Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy is self-administered with a state-of-the-art, top-quality machine.  PEMF is FDA approved for bone renewal, brain and mood disorders, and pain relief. There is much solid ongoing research indicating that it also plays a significant role in blood enhancement as well as the health and vitality of immune cells in the blood

Stem Cell Therapy for RA Patients

Since Regina’s visit, CHIPSA has stayed committed to being on the forefront of the most advanced medicine.

Stem Cell Therapy CHIPSA

We are excited to announce that our RA protocol now includes stem cell therapy in addition to our foundational treatments. Our goal is to use the foundational treatments to prime the body and get it ready to receive regenerative stem cell therapy.  We believe we can be even more successful in treating rheumatoid arthritis by adding this to the treatment regimen.

 Regina Almost 5 Years Later

The best thing about Regina’s results is that they have lasted. Over the 4 ½ years since she was treated at CHIPSA, Regina has only been back once for a “boost” treatment.

I’ve done remarkably well since my first treatment,” she says. “But I was very diligent for the first 18 months after I left CHIPSA to follow my at-home protocols.”

She continues to follow a modified Gerson protocol that she feels works best for her RA.

Regina has not been on any pharmaceuticals since her visit at CHIPSA 4 ½ years ago, and she has been pain-free throughout this time.

The medications were always the worst part of my disease,” Regina said. “I was so sick from taking all the different drugs.” And having had RA for many years, Regina has certainly tried them all. She’s grateful to be off of them.

She  believes that her success came from her initial treatment at CHIPSA as well as her resolve to continue her new lifestyle at home. Her RA doctor in the states continually supports her in staying off drugs and keeping her body in balance.

What Does This Mean For The Future of RA Treatments?

We are not in any way, shape or form, stating that we have a cure for Rheumatoid Arthritis. It’s very common to see alternative practitioners making claims that one substance or “thing” is an all out cure.

We know from our experience in treating cancer and boosting immune function for over 40 years , that the body is very complex and always evolving. There is no 100% cure.

What we do know, however, is that CHIPSA has had great success treating many patients with advanced disease like Regina  that had lost “hope” and accepted their life in pain and discomfort.

If you or someone you love would like to see how or if CHIPSA may have a treatment for your disease, please give us a call at 1-855-624-4772. We will schedule you a free 30 minute appointment to talk to one of our doctors.
