Suppressed Cancer Treatment? 40 Years Old?

In the early 1970s, America’s “War on Cancer” was in full swing, and Sloan Kettering was one of the world’s leading cancer research centers.

But it appears that Sloan Kettering’s Board of Directors may have knowingly hid positive findings about Laetrile also know as Amygdalin or Vitamin B-17.

Their Amygdalin research was by one of the world’s most respected cancer researchers of the day—Dr. Kanematsu Sugiura and the world may not have been made aware of Amygdalin’s potential results if it wasn’t for a brave young science writer, Ralph Moss.

In 1974,  Ralph Moss had just has just acquired his first big time writing job at  Sloan Kettering’s public relations department….soon found himself  in the middle of the Amygdalin controversy.

Ralph Moss claims he just couldn’t take it anymore and was no longer willing to hide what he saw as the truth on behalf of his employer. He held a large and public press conference…then the next day he was fired and escorted to the door by armed personnel.

This story is personally recounted in a new documentary Second Opinion: Laetrile at Sloan Kettering, in which Moss reveals the full extent of the Vitamin B-17 cover-up, in its entirety, as an insider. He’s also written a book about it, called Doctored Results.

So What Is Vitamin B-17 ?

Vitamin B-17 is made from the natural compound amygdalin, found in the seeds of many fruits, such as apricots, plum and peach pits, apple seeds, and quince, as well as in almonds, also known as Amigdalina B-17 or vitamin B17.

Amygdalin contains glucose, benzaldehyde, and cyanide. Cyanide is believed to be the active cancer-toxic ingredient in B-17. However, cyanide is toxic to all cells, so B-17’s overall toxicity is a concern which is why it MUST be administered in hospital setting and not at home.

At CHIPSA each patient’s levels and dosage of   B-17 is custom tailored to their cancer.

In 1924, B-17 was synthesized from amygdalin and promoted as a cancer treatment. By 1978, it was estimated that more than 70,000 Americans had tried it—despite its being banned in the US since 1963. Most people obtain B-17 from Tijuana clinics, as the agent is still legal in Mexico.

Dr. Sugiura’s Research

Dr. Kanematsu Sugiura, spent most of his career at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, authoring more than 250 papers and receiving numerous awards, including the highest honors from the Japan Medical Association for outstanding contributions in cancer research.

While studying Amygaldin, which was previously written off as Dr. Sugiura discovered B-17 to have very positive effects in preventing the spread of malignant lung tumors in laboratory mice.

In control groups, which received only plain saline, the lung tumors spread in 80 to 90 percent of the animals. But in those given B-17, the tumors spread in only 10 to 20 percent.

The Cover Up?

By 1974, some found the findings on Vitamin B-17 so promising that Sloan Kettering begun to start the process with  clinical trials—but suddenly it wast stopped. The center began shifting their Vitamin B-17 experiments away from Dr. Sugiura on to other researchers. But every time new experiments yielded even a glimmer of  positive results, the research was stopped….mysteriously for no reason

Even the scientists at Sloan Kettering who originally in support Sugiura’s studies began to describe Amygdalin as a fraud—yet nothing had changed scientifically to dispute Sugiura’s findings. Despite the negative feedback, Dr. Sugiura stood firmly by his work.

Remember Ralph Moss? The young writer?

During this time he and Dr. Sugiura grew quite close and Sugiura had excitedly shared his findings about Amygdalin with Moss. When all of the negativity took place, Moss was caught in the middle and had two choices.

His could lie, in order to support Sloan Kettering and keep his job, or tell the truth and put his job on the line. He had even tried leaking the documents of Sugiura’s work the New York Times, but they were never released.

Ultimately, Moss couldn’t take it anymore and held a press conference in July 1977, exposing all that he knew….not surprisingly he was immediately terminate from Sloan Kettering.

What happened to cause this sudden change in Vitamin B-17?

But Does Vitamin B-17 Work?

The research intoVitamin B-17 did cease just because Sloan Kettering buried the findings 40 years ago.

Many recent studies confirm Dr. Sugiura’s work, supporting his conclusion that Vitamin B-17 shows great potential in reducing the spread of cancer, although it’s not a cure.

Here are just a few of the more recent studies that substantiate Dr. Sugiura’s research:

Recent studies confirm Dr. Sigiura’s findings:
  • August 2014: In a new German study, amygdalin dose-dependently reduced growth and proliferation of bladder cancer
  • May 2013: Amygdalin inhibits renal fibrosis in chronic kidney disease; researchers conclude it is a “potent antibiotic agent that may have therapeutic potential for patients with fibrotic kidney diseases”
  • February 2013: Amygdalin induces apoptosis in human cervical cancer cells; authors conclude it may offer a new therapeutic option for cervical cancer patients
  • August 2006: Amygdalin also induces apoptosis in human prostate cancer cells
  • February 2003: Amygdalin from Prunus persica seeds (peach pits) shows anti-tumor effects comparable to epigallocatechin gallate in green tea

Despite all of the research findings, you will find no apology by Sloan Kettering, and unfortunately, many cancer sites claim that Vitamin B-17 is useless as a cancer treatment.

Vitamin B-17 for most seems like lost opportunity. It is unfortunate that this type of misinformation is appears to to rampant in the cancer world…and patients ultimately are the ones who really suffer because they are denied access to information and treatments that could allow them to make decisions in their treatment.

The facts show that Dr. Sugiura was both competent and honest, but instead of accolades, he received nothing but grief because he just happened to step into the middle of a political hornets’ nest.

Beating Cancer As a Whole

Here at CHIPSA Hospital we utilize  Vitamin B-17 as part of our integrative approach to treating cancer and autoimmune disease. Here are some of the protocols we utilize:

Coley’s Toxins
Gerson Therapy
Autologous Cell Vaccine
Vitamin B-17
IV Vitamin CK3
Hyperbaric Oxygen

We are not in any way, shape or form, stating that we have a cure for cancer. It’s very common to see alternative practitioners making claims that one substance or “thing” is an all out cure.

We know from our experience in treating cancer for 37 years , that cancer is very complex and always evolving. There is no 100% cure. What we do know, however, is that CHIPSA has had great success treating many patients that were sent home to “die” in their home country because conventional medicine failed them.

We also know, that a 5 year, retrospective Melanoma case study done at our hospital showed a higher success rate treating Melanoma than any treatment available by the establishment. And we do know that many times within a 3-4 week stay, we will see peoples tumor markers be cut in half or go away and large tumors disappear.

We feel that combining Vitamin B-17 with some of our proven immune boosting protocols and our 37 years of research into immune function may allow for some groundbreaking cancer treatments and get us closer to an answer.

If you or someone you love would like to see how or if you can utilize Vitamin B-17 for cancer give us a call at 1-855-624-4772. We will schedule you a free 30 minute appointment to talk to one of our doctors.
