Patricia Ainey

My name is Patricia (Pat) Ainey. I live in a small town in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. I am now 66 years of age and very glad to be alive.

In Jan/986, I was given 3 months to live, from cancer of the pancreas that had spread to the liver, spleen and gallbladder. I was told by the medical specialists, “To go home, get my live in order and prepare my family as the cancer was inoperable.” We were distraught. We heard about the Gerson Clinic in Mexico. What? Disbelief, no way, crank, scam, what to do? Very skeptical, yet still wasting away, (150 lbs down to 85 lbs), very sick, throwing up blood. But what other choices did we have? We went to the Chipsa Hospital in Mexico, to do the Gerson Therapy, as there was a glimmer of hope.

I started the Gerson Therapy on March 7/1986, 10 days before my 47th birthday. Within 10 days on the therapy, the bleeding had stopped and I had no more pain.

My husband Ron was with me 24 hours a day, we worked at the therapy and studies, re-read, constantly pouring over the information of the therapy to learn all we could while we were at the clinic so we could carry on at home.

In July/86, (4 months later), my doctor at home commended on my well being and said “Patricia, I don’t know what you are doing, I don’t want to know what you are doing, just keep doing it.”

In Dec/86, (9 months), my doctor said “Patricia, I think you’ve got the cancer licked.” What a wonderful Christmas present for me and my family.

The therapy is not easy, 5 coffee enemas a day, 13 organic juices and a strict diet. Also believing.

I beat the cancer, but not without the doctor (Dr. Vic Ortuno) and staff at the clinic and the moral strength and support of my husband Ron, son Ron family and friends.

I was on the Gerson Therapy for two years and people still ask if the cancer is gone, why do you still do the therapy? My husband says when you find a life line you’re afraid to let it go.

So here I am 19 1/2 years later, 5 grand kids and thankful to be alive.
