We have created the Tumor Board by leveraging many years of oncology experience. The Tumor Board meets frequently to assess, chart-by-chart, the special needs of current and prospective patients.
The CHIPSA Tumor Board (CTB) is a multidisciplinary think-tank of physicians and researchers who actively review the current extent of a patient’s disease, complications arising from the disease or prior treatments, and comorbidities (such as diabetes, coronary heart disease, cancer) that may affect future treatment options.
All appropriate specialties are considered and consulted in order to coordinate promising treatments.
With many cumulative years of oncology experience, the CTB meets frequently to assess, chart-by-chart, the special needs of current and prospective patients. Based on standard S.O.A.P (subjective data, objective data, assessment and plan), the impression and recommendations that result from the CTB conference create structured methodologies for each patient aimed at providing the best potential treatments in pursuit of the best possible outcomes.
